Worked on the reappointment team for ST.Luke’s Health. I work closing with physicians and credentialing contacts to make sure the reappointment process is smooth and done efficiently. This consists of reviewing the physicians application and doing all that is necessary to verify what is provided is accurate and that all licensing is correct.

I had the honor of working at UC Davis pediatric Cancer Center. My focus was being efficient, productive, collaborating with my team, and still showing empathy for our patients. I am part of the check in and out process while responsible for all external and internal authorization and referrals. I also process all continuation of care authorizations. Work closely with doctors and nurse coordinators. Our clinic is very high volume and requires lots of multitasking and being very organized.

As a Medical office rep lead I supported our manager with multiple duties such as time cards, daily staffing, creating work flows, supporting all staff and cover as needed. Still responsible for authorizations and referrals. Working closely with all providers, infusion nurses, and genetic counselors.

Processing all incoming and outgoing referrals. Responsible for authorizations for chemotherapy and radiology. Answering phones for high call volume clinic. Working closely with multiple providers and departments to provide excellent care and compassion for our patients. Lastly checking patients in and out appointments when needed.
