Assist with leading, directing and managing daily hotel operations including, strategic planning, managing balanced scorecard performance, implementing and complying with all company policies and standards, assist with coordinating capital improvements and property improvement plans, responding to guests’ inquiries and resolving concerns, and meeting participation and facilitation. Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance and service and financial measurements. Identify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement measures to correct those deficiencies. Implement and manage daily quality process to include, but not limited to, communicating goals, empowering team members, managing service recovery techniques and problem resolution and measuring satisfaction. Monitor and develop team member performance, particularly department heads and managers, to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, providing professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward. Also responsible for recruiting, interview and train team members.

Responsible for managing corporate and local preferred travel programs with a focus on increasing volume of business and ADR. Solicit, contract and service corporate and local accounts via monthly and quarterly correspondence, outside sales calls and phone solicitation. Establish and maintain on-going relationships with current clients of hotel to generate business for hotel and solicit relationships with target accounts or agencies. Maintain current information and properly notate account activity in Sales pro database for marketing and tracking purposes. Conduct site inspection with current or potential clients. Prepare correspondence, memos, proposals and contracts. Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests. Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsible for overseeing and supervise all duties performed by all Front Office employees. Coach, counsel and discipline employees when necessary, using proper documentation and proper techniques. Recruit, hire, train and retrain associates for all departments. Accountable for meeting and coming in under payroll and expense budgets. Accountable for maintaining and monitoring that all employees follow proper cash handling procedures. Ensure proper inventory controls, working with Sales and Reservations to ensure maximum selling potential. Ensure accuracy of groups, rooming lists, billing, amenities, arrivals, etc. I assist with managing and updating inventory daily/problem-solve inventory issues that may arise. Create and manage room blocks for social and corporate groups, Communicate with Sales Managers of all inventory deadlines approaching.
