As a first-generation Afro-Latina, I have experienced firsthand the challenges immigrant families face in accessing healthcare due to fears surrounding citizenship status. This motivated me to advocate for equitable healthcare solutions. At Allegheny College, I combined technology and policy analysis in my research, including a comparative analysis of peacekeeping and developing a data management program for educational resources. Now at Carnegie Mellon University, I am eager to explore the intersection of policy, technology, and healthcare, focusing on ethical AI applications to improve access for underserved communities. I welcome connections with fellow professionals committed to public service and social justice, as together we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve!
