Collaboration with key societies and leading members within community to develop high value content and marketing. Lead generation and development, including negotiation and creation of author/editor contracts, internal book proposal documents, book pricing and financial models/budgets. Development of various content types using different workflows, including structured series, and standard, complex (high value) and textbook/reference hybrid titles. International travel and attendance at key conferences, liaison with marketing and global exhibitions for Elsevier presence at conference. Market research and analysis to ensure continued growth and performance of portfolio; portfolio strategy construction and implementation, in line with current research trends in field and in accordance with team and company strategic goals. Internal collaboration with Content Development, Production, Publishing Support and Journals colleagues, to ensure aligned strategy and development for portfolio.
