Serving as a board member for the Illinois Society of Human Resource Management, I am responsible for the annual conference held every August. This is the largest Human Resource Management conference held in Illinois. This role includes all logistical planning, coordination of keynote and concurrent speakers, organizing the conference schedule, obtaining and organizing sponsors and exhibitors and overall execution of the event.

After working with job seekers for nearly two years, I realized that where they needed help the most was in incorporating social media into their job search.
