About Sabrina Hauser

I am a technology design and research expert with experience leading, managing and successfully implementing various projects, recruiting and mentoring talent, teaching and training, and public speaking. I have worked for over 12 years in academia as a design researcher, a design educator and mentor, as well as a manager. My background spans studies in information and engineering sciences, applied arts and design, and the humanities. As a design researcher my practice involves designing and studying technology. I have published numerous articles in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at top-tier conferences and journals (e.g., CHI, DIS, TOCHI, AI&Society) and received multiple awards and honours. I bring extensive experience with major national funding programs evidenced through having worked on SSHRC, NSERC, and CIHR- funded research projects. I have strong domain expertise in digital technology and STEAM sectors. I am a detail-oriented and organized team player, I think strategically, creatively, and critically, and I excel at communicating and building successful relationships.
