Currently, I am the Recruitment Coordinator for the RTR Teacher Residency Program at Virginia Commonwealth University. I am a former 5th grade educator in Richmond Public Schools (RPS). I love embracing and impacting the entire person, academically, emotionally, and culturally. I am a holistic learner and a holistic educator. I am passionate about cultivating an atmosphere of love, security, prosperity, tranquility, and freedom among future students and prospective teachers. I am fully convinced that teamwork makes the dream not only work but thrive. I believe life is purposed to love, serve, develop and impact. I am an enthusiastic, inquisitive, faithful, team-working alumna of Virginia Commonwealth University with experience in curriculum writing and culturally aware practices. Throughout my professional career, I have been able to joyously utilize and continuously sharpen skills such as creative & strategic thinking, canva software management and creation, team delegation and task management, google drive management, oral and written communication, character building, creating space for voice, culturally responsive teaching and teaming.
