Within the Hotel Management Training program with Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, I worked in Banqueting department, Event Guest Concierge and shadowed management in Reservation, Event Planning, Marketing, and Sales. As a Banquet server,my responsibilities included preparation of different kinds of buffets and coffee breaks, the plated functions set-ups, team lead for plated functions, and support in the back of the house. Rewarded a 212 pin by providing excellent customer service. Being a Certificate New Hired Trainer (CNHT), I trained a new hire for 3 weeks by going through the hotel’s information and rules, Health and Safety issues, Function set-ups etc. Cross-trained in EGC(Event Guest Concierge), my duties included communicating with other hotel departments, such as Event service, front office, and AV etc. to make sure our guests will have fluent functions in the hotel, and also communicate with guest contacts. In the F&B department, my duties included preparation the plated functions and events set-ups and support in the back of the house. Our F&B functions included Breakfast service, Bar Service, Room Service, and Banqueting Service.
