See below: I have an immense passion for adult education, safety, health, and wellness. I have conducted trainings for over a dozen years in the fields of education, occupational safety, and occupational health and wellness. I have spent the past decade working in safety and education for our local and state government and have thorough experience in creating/implementing and maintaining EHS programming amongst multiple remote locations throughout the state of Illinois. Education has been an intregal part of my life. I have a bachelor's degree in both Occupational Health and Safety, Business Administration and Organizational Behavior and a Master’s in Education, emphasis EducationalLeadership. I am a Certified Safety Professional, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Health Coach, Certified American Red Cross Instructor, Certified NSC Forklift Trainer, Sunbelt Certified MEWP Trainer, Certified Hazmat Trainer and a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. I have numerous EHS certifications; 1910/1926 10 and 30 Hour, 10-Hour TD&E, 16-Hour Incident Commander, Competent Person in Trenching/Excavation, Scaffolding, Fall Protection with Certified Inspector through Honeywell, DOT/IATA Certified, RCRA Certified and am working towards an OSHA Outreach Instructor. Additionally, I wrote, maintained, and reported all courses and curriculum packages in the Learning Management System (LMS) for my previous employor's. I served as our SDS Chemical Safety/Inventory Administrator, Program Manager of facility health life systems, 24/7 Incident Commander, Emergency Action Plan Developer, IDOL/OSHA Reporter, Waste Management Programmer, Environmental Permiter/Reporter, Policy Developer, Facility Management EHS Director with 360 Programming across the state, Workers Compensation, Risk Assesor, LEPC Member and many other roles. My passion lies within total worker health [physical, mental, and emotional]. We spend our lives working; workers shall be provided complete safety as well as should feel good when working. It is important for organizations to invest in preventative measures utilizing health and wellness, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to educate workers on how to better recognize and identify hazards. Prevention measures will reduce accidents over time, continually improving employee safety, which increases company productivity and leads to a positive and well-balanced safety culture.
