In May 2022, the Jacobs Foundation and MIT Solve joined forces to launch LEAP (Leveraging Evidence for Action to Promote change), a global initiative that reduces these barriers and brings together researchers and social entrepreneurs to support education organizations in strengthening the evidence base of their learning solutions. By fostering this collaboration, LEAP aims to positively impact educational innovation and provide children with the tools they need to thrive.

I am facilitating the first CO.STARTERS programme in Auckland, run at AUT. CO.STARTERS is a nine-week programme that equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the insights, relationships, and tools (such as the business lean canvas) needed to turn business ideas into action and turn a passion into a sustainable and thriving business.

Being the Executive Assistant to Derek Handley and supporting senior management in project coordination and management activities.

I was on the organising team for the next Auckland Startup weekend looking after Finances and Media for the event.

I was looking after ecentre's marketing and communication needs which involved developing and implementing a marketing and communication strategy, positioning ecentre and increasing its brand awareness. Being a not for profit organisation closely linked to a University with various stakeholders required a unique set of skills and can be very challenging at times. I enjoyed the mix of strategic and tactical aspects of my role. Some of the tasks I was responsible for included developing a cohesive content strategy, testing and measuring different campaigns, keeping website and all collateral on brand, communicating with different stakeholders through a variety of channels online and offline and organising events.

I was providing advice around strategy, go-to market and social media to ecentre incubation clients. I also enjoyed being a sounding board for people who wanted to discuss their business ideas with me.Working with (mainly) early stage companies, I was assisting entrepreneurs to take their business ideas from garage to global. I provided a range of support from assessing business ideas, providing strategic direction, getting investment ready advice and launching a product/service into the market.I mostly enjoyed helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality by testing whether there is a market for the product/service and a suitable business model with spending the least amount of time, money and effort in the process.

I co-developed and managed the ecentreSprint programme at ecentre. An intensive 15-week programme focused on validating a market and a business model for business ideas.

I align your social media efforts to drive your overall strategic goals more effectively. I am specialising on formulating and implementing social media strategies for companies through workshops and ongoing coaching services.

I am co-organising the next Start Up Weekend in Auckland. Start up weekends are a 54h event which gets developers, designers and business people to work on an idea over the weekend before they pitch it to judges on Sunday night. http://auckland.startupweekend.org/
