I was looking after ecentre's marketing and communication needs which involved developing and implementing a marketing and communication strategy, positioning ecentre and increasing its brand awareness. Being a not for profit organisation closely linked to a University with various stakeholders required a unique set of skills and can be very challenging at times. I provided a range of support from assessing business ideas, providing strategic direction, getting investment ready advice and launching a product/service into the market.I mostly enjoyed helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality by testing whether there is a market for the product/service and a suitable business model with spending the least amount of time, money and effort in the process.
I co-developed and managed the ecentreSprint programme at ecentre. An intensive 15-week programme focused on validating a market and a business model for business ideas.
