Sabrine is the Founder and CEO of Untap, an innovation and talent discovery platform provider (SaaS) that enables innovation-driven organizations to tap into distributed networks of talented caliber and the power of open innovation to generate creative solutions. We help organizations plan, launch, manage, promote, and assess innovation platforms, citizen engagement platforms, open innovation challenges, hackathons, startup programs, creative contests, consumer co-creation platforms, grants, scholarships, student competitions, and more. Some of our customers include Dell Technologies, P&G, Vodafone, the Saudi government, the British Council, the United Nations, and Deutsche Welle.Sabrine got her Master's in Digital Innovation and Information Systems from Warwick Business School in the UK in 2018.She used to work as an entrepreneurship consultant and researcher at the German-Arab Chamber of Industry & Commerce, working with “MENA Projektpartner e.V.” (the official liaison office of the Egyptian German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Germany) on a project sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology whose main purpose was to support the Egyptian entrepreneurship ecosystem. Sabrine is also the founder of SolverMine, a former online open innovation intermediary with a primary focus on the Middle East and Africa. Businesses, nonprofits, and governments published challenges related to their operations, R&D, market research, and business processes on SolverMine. The goal was to generate innovative crowd-sourced solutions from the platform community and award the most viable ones. Sabrine is a graduate of the German School in Alexandria and the German University in Cairo (GUC). She majored in Innovation Management and Information Systems and used to work as a Teaching Assistant at the GUC. She is passionate about open innovation, collaborative problem-solving, design thinking, and social business models.
