Serve as a member for a team of dedicated Brand Finance liaisons at the CSSC, supporting assigned brands throughout forecast, close and post-close activities. Ensure the review and validation of all Line Item Owner closing entries, prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned brand's chart of accounts, collect and prepare brand-specific corporate close report(s) and support 100% brand balance sheet certification at the CSSC.

Prepare accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations; identify, analyze and resolve variances and discrepanciesEnsure accurate and timely recording of payroll entries to the general ledger at month-endResponsible for compliance with accounting controls as directed by Gap Inc. accounting policiesPerform Gap Inc. Employee Services internal business and SOX control testingComplete assigned tasks, roles and responsibilities in a timely manner, with limited supervision; ensure timely escalation of critical and/or outstanding items to supervisorSupport the Gap Inc. payroll audit process, ensuring payroll is accurate before payments are initiated

Reconcile daily funding on bank depository accounts for debit card, credit card, and electronic check sales.Daily forecast reporting to Cash Management on all electronic sales to be used for investment purposes.Various reporting on tenders to determine blended rates, cost analysis, and fee and bad debt forecasting to be provided to Brand Finance on a monthly basis.Provide budgeting on tender fees and bad debt to Brand Finance.Analyze fees on monthly basis to ensure they comply with contract agreements. Analyze bad debt to find trends in order to work with Brand Finance to alleviate any unnecessary loss and to foresee and future spikes for budgeting.Month end journal entries to book fees, bad debt, and any reconciling items.Compile credit card chargebacks in database and ensure they balance with vendor reporting.Insure that stores follow correct procedures regarding credit card transactions to insure minimal loss to company and stores.
