I will be serving as the editor of the lab news site the Oxford Observer for the 2024-25 academic year. This is a class that writes the stories, edits them and posts them on the website. We will be working to put more multimedia stories on the site this year. The news site covers the city of Oxford and surrounding areas.

I had various beats at The Kentucky Post including education, the city of Florence, the city of Ft. Thomas, but most of my memorable stories are from the religion beat I covered the last few years at the paper. I won a second place in beat reporting from the Queen City Society of Professional Journalists. I left in 1995 to stay home and care for my sons.
I was the news editor for Suburban Life Press and the Eastern Hills Journal. I also worked part-time for Community Press doing specialty publications from 1996 through 2001.
