I'm a Media-Designer (Mediengestalter) and Communications Manager from Luxembourg and I write about a variety of topics from the publishing world in irregular intervals or discuss current questions and problems from experience on www.mediengestalter.lu like specific tutorials and tricks with InDesign, expert knowledge on image processing in Photoshop, colour management particularities in Illustrator or automations with Acrobat.Several longer contributions are rather popular within the community, such as the especially detailed blog posts regarding e-book creation with InDesign. This two-part guide has been expanded into a book that I wrote together with my colleague Yves Apel, released by well known dpunkt Publishing in February of 2012, titled "ePub für (In)Designer – Mit InDesign Schritt für Schritt zum E-Book."I started my career 1998 at Saint-Paul Luxembourg as typographer where I also did my apprentice-ship and "media operator" BTS studies. 2012 I decided to change and since then I'm responsible for graphic design, communication, social media, marketing and communication at Arend & Fischbach, real estate developer from Mersch/Luxembourg. I also like to layout and design books, brochures, pamphlets, posters, CD-Covers and websites for my bands. Technological challenge is always present and I'm thirsty to learn.
