- I was selected for this internship as a part of my Master's degree at the University of Strathclyde.- Having developed a deep interest in fraud detection during my master's degree, I was keen to work on this upcoming subject area. - I was able to develop 5 models to detect anomalous transactions in the accounting data. These were unsupervised machine learning techniques. - The techniques included K-Nearest Neighbor, Isolation Forest, Autoencoder Neural Networks, One-Class Support Vector Machine, and Local Outlier Factor. - The five models were compared and the best model was recommended, given the test data.
