Project Manager
Current● Schedule and manage dates for projects.● Function as single point of contact among manufacturers, vendors, warehouse clerks, other project managers, engineers and installation team to ensure open lines of communication..● Log all communication regarding each project.● Ensure the project does not go over budget.● Facilitate calls for Engineering and Installation Team to discuss the detailed scope of work before dispatching installers to the field.● Manage logistics for both inbound and outbound freight scheduling● Identify, develop and communicate corrective actions for performance shortfalls.● Proactively work with customers to resolve issues related to availability, materials and shipments.● Collaborate with both internal and customer teams to improve forecasting, purchasing, transporting, receiving, and delivering products to meet customer requirements.● Facilitate supplier discussions to support material flow, projects, and escalations.● Identify and propose alternate sources and substitute products.● Perform analysis, make recommendations, and facilitate the resolution of issues.● Develop, document and implement best-in-class processes and improvements.● Manage day-to-day operational aspects of tracking, housing and shipping materials for large telecommunications projects.● Responsible for all materials throughout the life of each project.● Ensure each project team is notified when projects appear in jeopardy and provide appropriate steps to remediation.● Create and implement Process Improvement Documents to increase productivity and maintain or improve customer satisfaction.● Investigate, solve and fix missing materials issues and other discrepancies leading to potential savings of more than $3 million.
