In my role as an Automation Test Engineer, I focus on ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality before it reaches the end-users. I create and maintain automated test scripts using a Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) framework and Selenium WebDriver. This approach allows me to thoroughly test the system based on specific requirements and user stories.As the lead for Verification and Validation (VnV) activities across multiple releases, I’m responsible for overseeing all testing processes, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively. My work has been recognized for consistently delivering results ahead of schedule, which has earned appreciation from customers.One of my key achievements was improving the overall test execution pass rate from 72% to 87% in just six months. I accomplished this by optimizing the test execution environment, reducing manual work, and enhancing efficiency. Additionally, I contributed to increasing the CI/CD pipeline execution success rate from 81% to 94% through strategic improvements. I also initiated a process change in the creation of ALM test sets after execution, which resulted in a 90% reduction in auditors' time during post-VnV reviews. My role involves analyzing test execution reports to track progress, reporting test plans and pass percentages to leadership, and making recommendations for improvements.In addition to my technical responsibilities, I document processes and results in Confluence to support overall automation execution. I also train new team members, providing them with product knowledge and encouraging a proactive approach to ensure high-quality delivery.Overall, my role is integral to maintaining the quality and reliability of our software, improving testing processes, and ensuring successful releases.
