My name is Sachin Desai and I am a space avionics and EEE components engineer. I worked for NASA Johnson Space Center for 1 year and then started working at SpaceX. At SpaceX, I work on EEE component reliability analysis, failure analysis, and certification. Furthermore, I help engineers optimize their avionics and electromechanical designs for greater reliability. At NASA, I developed an automated battery cell tester robot from battery cell testing requirements to final working machine. This machine was responsible for testing battery cells before they were placed in spaceflight battery packs.
