The experience taught me the importance of precision and attention to detail in financial operations.After relocating to New Zealand, I joined Bidfood where I spent around five years evolving through different positions. Starting as an Accounts Payable professional, I worked my way up to become an Accounts Administrator and Internal Auditor. This role helped me understand the vital role of internal controls and compliance.During my tenure at Bidfood, I transitioned into a role as a Procurement Specialist, which was a significant turning point in my career. Over three years, I developed expertise in procurement, negotiating terms and building strong supplier relationships.Currently, I am serving as the Procurement Manager at B&F Papers Ltd, where I lead the efforts in finding the right products, suppliers and terms for our business. My responsibilities encompass the management of purchasing, inventory, supplier invoice reconciliation and approval, staff leadership and overseeing shipping agent relationships. I had the privilege of travelling internationally to forge partnership and secure favourable terms for long term business relationships. This exposure broadened my horizons and enhanced my negotiation skills.In my role, I manage the Rolls and Paper categories for all three of our warehouse locations in New Zealand. My passion lies in making businesses more profitable and efficient through effective communication with stakeholders.
