Knowledge of li ion cell chemistry and the various processes involved in manufacturing li ion battery packs.  Experience with battery protection module and safety standards.  Experience in battery pack inter connection design, Thermal management safety  Define pack and cell requirement and find the best option for product volume, weight and run time requirement.  Mechanical integration of battery cells, electro chemical components and hardware.  Develop, test, and validation plans for manufacturing and characterizing battery packs.  Good understanding of design for manufacturability ( DFM) ,Design for assembly  Supplier management during the pack architecture developments and during pack builds.  Support the final assembly site to ensure proper integration of the battery into the final system.  Rigorous failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action ,and communication to the cross functional teams on issues.  Knowledge on Battery Automotive Standards ISO12405, UN38.3, AIS038, AIS048,AIS152,UL,SAEJ2664,IEC62660,GB/T etc.  Work with other testing engineers and technicians to execute battery performance testing Electrical test , Mechanical tests, Safety tests using cyclers/equipment’s and provide accurate result reports.  Knowledge on various types of measurements equipment’s to test batteries and cells.
