As the Secretary of the organization, I was responsible for providing opportunities for local undergraduates to secure professional internships abroad through the IAESTE global network. By leveraging the IAESTE network, I helped students gain valuable international work experience, exposure to new cultures, and the opportunity to build their professional network.

As the President, I successfully organized the 'Emerging Civil Engineer Award' competition. My efforts included coordinating with the board of officials and partnering with industry professionals to conduct several impactful knowledge-sharing sessions, aimed at uplifting the talent of university undergraduates.

During the 5-month industrial training program, I was exposed to valuable hands-on diverse site experience and structured design work experience. This training provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the construction process, allowing me to gain practical skills and knowledge in the following areas: • Designing reinforced concrete structures according to Eurocodes.• Supervision of superstructure construction work, including transfer floor construction and mass concreting, reinforcement work, post tensioning, and waterproofing methods.• Supervision of substructure construction work, including bored piling, diaphragm wall and capping beam construction, deep excavation, and shoring system construction.• Supervision of several finishing works, including block work, plastering, tiling, painting, and floor rendering.• Supervision of surveying work, defect identification and rectification, inventory inspection, and project commissioning work.

Played an integral role in the execution of avenue projects and the initiation of new virtual initiatives. As a proactive manager, effectively led a team of individuals to ensure that these projects were completed efficiently and effectively while adapting to virtual conditions.One of my key responsibilities was to create new opportunities for member interaction and fellowship, which is a core objective of the Rotaract movement. Throughout the year, executed innovative virtual projects that provided members with the opportunity to engage with each other, build relationships, and develop their sense of community, even in the absence of in-person interactions.

As the Co-Chairperson of "Are You Ready? 2020", the Official Careers Fair of the University of Moratuwa, organized by the Rotaract Club in collaboration with the Career Guidance Unit for the 25th consecutive time, I successfully guided the overall coordination of the event. With the participation of 177 panels representing 70 companies and over 800 final-year undergraduates, it was marked as one of the largest virtual career fairs in the country.I oversaw the program's successful execution, which included 4 preparatory sessions, 1 CV Clinic program, and a 3-day virtual career fair, all conducted in a fully virtualized manner adapting to the new normal. I played a pivotal role in the development of a customized platform to provide the best experience for both undergraduates and corporate professionals during the career fair.The program was recognized as the "𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲" for the year 2020/21 by the Rotaract District 3220 at their annual award ceremony.

Effectively managed the financial aspects of the club with a long-term focus and vision. Through my efforts, over 60 projects were executed during the financial year with a total turnover of approximately 3 million rupees. My ability to efficiently handle the club's finances allowed for the successful execution of a diverse range of projects and initiatives, thereby enabling the club to achieve its goals and objectives.
