Heading the vertical for Strategic Projects which include Small Cells Solutions & Acquisitions, WiFi Networks & Smart City Network Infrastructure Solutions. Developed for the first time, India specific deployment solutions for Small Cells and carried out 'pilot' deployments across the country. Role also includes building alliances with Developers and other Strategic partners for providing 'One Airtel' Network Solution, which offers to a 'Smart City/Township' with Fiber/FTTH, Mobile Network, Wi-Fi as well as DTH integrated solution, a pioneer for the Industry.From December 2015, taken on additional responsibility as CTO for Airtel Business. Responsible for Service Delivery for Fiber as well as iWAN network, Mobile Network Solutions for Enterprise & Government Business. Implemented a unique 'distributed' Service delivery model for iWAN and took iWAN delivery 6 times upward, helping faster Revenue realization and improving C-Sat.Currently handling 'Smart City' projects Network solutions, building alliances, participating in the Smart City projects along-with the other stake-holders and partners.

Business Responsibility (P&L) for Machine to Machine (M2M) based Solutions in the domains of Energy Management, Smart Metering & Advanced Metering Infrastructure, Intelligent Building Management Systems, backed with Fiber based Smart Infrastructure. This is a Top Management position.

After an extremely satisfying and enriching stint of close to 10 years, joined Radius Infratel P.Ltd. as the COO. FTTH Business in India was at a nascent stage. Helped Radius to create & maintain India's first & the largest FTTH network. This is a Technology & Operations Role. Established the organisation to create a scaled up operation around Network Planning, Network Deployment, Network Quality as well as Network Operations including setting up India's first and only Network operations centre (NOC) for FTTH network.

Took over the responsibility as Circle CTO for the integrated Network Services Group for Delhi NCR Circle. This is a CTO role for Mobile, Fixed Line and National Long Distance Network for Bharti Airtel in the geography of Delhi NCR.Major achievements include, Deployment of 3G Network from scratch in the prestigious Delhi Circle with stringent time-lines and ahead of the competition. Stint also included successful deployment of Network at Commonwealth Games Village as well as all Stadium venues, First F1 Race in Noida et el. Responsibility included taking care of largest single city Mobile network, largest Fixed Line & Broadband network as well as largest single city Transport network.Innovations included first time introduction of Fiber to Home in Airtel network, deployment of network at most critical locations like e.g. Rashtrapati Bhavan.Customer facing role which included enhancement of C-Sat as a major deliverable at the same time taking care of Business viable solutions deployment.

I work in the Telemedia Business unit which provides Broadband and Telephone Service and is shortly venturing into Triple Play Services like IPTV, VoD etc. as well as DTH operations.I head the Technical organization in North Hub which includes Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Rajastan, UP and Kolkata in the East.My job involves Operation of the largest Braoadband and Telephone network with more than 1 Million Customers, Network rollout, Capex and Opex budgeting and monitoring.

In Siemens (which is now a part of Nokia Siemens Networks Ltd.) I handled two areas;Heading the Installation and Commissioning group including EWSD Switching, D900 GSM Switching, BSS, Infrastructure and Power Systems.Worked as Project manager for two large scale projects; GSM project on Turnkey basis and National Long Distance Network project for two of the prestigious clients Spice Telecom and Bharti Telesonic Ltd.Trained in Germany on Switching Power Systems for Large Switching Systems.
