Scouting for technologies through partnerships with accelerators and investors to help USPS catch-up with competitive services. • Leading the development and implementation of an internal innovation framework that combines the broad range of technical expertise at USPS with the current and emerging business and operational opportunities. • Identifying opportunities to develop new products and services based on emerging trends like IoT, payment technologies and blockchains that could either add value to existing USPS customers, or bring new customers into the fold, e.g. the development of a platform that uses augmented reality to enhance the value of direct mail for advertisers, USPS and consumers. • Helping to develop and implement the analytical framework for vetting ideas that are invested in by the Innovation Team. -
