As a Procurement Category Manager at Munich Re, one of the world's leading reinsurance companies, I apply my skills in Lean Six Sigma, supplier negotiation, and logistics management to optimize the procurement processes and strategies for various categories of products and services. I have been working in this role for over a year, after completing my Master of Science in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from SRH University of Applied Sciences North Rhine Westphalia in August 2022. During my studies, I also gained valuable experience as a Master Thesis Student and an Intern at Munich Re, where I conducted research and analysis on the impact of digitalization on procurement and supply chain management. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. My core competencies include analytical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. I am passionate about learning new technologies and methodologies that can improve the efficiency and sustainability of procurement and supply chain operations. My goal is to contribute to the innovation and transformation of the procurement function at Munich Re and beyond.
