Sachin Budhathoki, Ph.D. Email and Phone Number
I'm a passionate Biomedical Engineer with a thing for cyling. Looking for roles where I can bring together my biomedical engineering skills, translational research knowledge, and cross-collaboration expertise in people-oriented Clinical and Medical Affairs roles. I gauge the success of my research works with the immediacy of their impact and proximity to patient care. Drawn by this, I became a Tech-Transfer Research Fellow while still in graduation program and quickly got promoted to Senior Innovate Fellow. I possess the ability to assess the ramifications and potential of scientific innovation, as exemplified by my contribution to the issuance of 8 US Patents and 105 disclosures in 2023. Thus, I can contribute to an organization as a Patent Agent, Scientific Consultant, Technology Transfer Officer, or Patent Examiner. Doing Ph.D. in the largest Medical Institution in my state (Alabama) has given me a unique opportunity to collaborate with inventors, healthcare providers, and clinical teams. It has enabled us to understand the disconnect between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare providers. In preparing over 100 Intellectual Property Reports for the Bill L. Harbert Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship on topics ranging from therapeutics and research tools to software, I have had chances for in-depth field interactions with clinical, legal, and compliance teams. I can liaise with medical staff and be involved in regulating and developing medical drugs, treatments, implants, and devices. I consider myself an ideal candidate for positions such as Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Data Manager, and Clinical Research Coordinator. My proficiency in writing is one of my core strengths. As a Scientific Writer and Medical Writer, I can convey medical and healthcare information to diverse audiences, encompassing healthcare professionals, patients, and the general public. Additionally, I possess proficiency in research methodologies and can succinctly communicate intricate discoveries. I am well-suited for roles as a Technical Writer, Scientific Writer, and Medical Writer, offering valuable support to organizations in attaining their objectives.I take pride in my empathetic listening. My social skills and emotional intelligence have helped me as much as my technical skills in leading a team. I am passionate about taking in diverse perspectives from team members. I am grateful that my colleagues see a leader in me and have helped me succeed in various leadership positions.
