No problem is too complex. You just need a way to break it down into smaller components that are easier to achieve. Ask for help from people who are smarter than you. You will be surprised with what you can achieve. Work should be enriching - for me that means you have to be continuously learning. As soon as that stops it is time to move on. Don't waste time on meetings just for the purpose of face time. There are many better things you could be doing with your time. I have extensive experience with developing new businesses in a very complex matrix organisation - this has been very valuable experience to be able to develop robust business plans and particularly investment proposals to seek funding. I am now putting this experience to practice through my ventures now.
