Disassembled and reassembled Dell and competitor desktops to create research decks looking at mechanical features and manufacturing techniques. Helped the operations team by creating a guide assessing all the prototype vendors we use. Sent out a survey to the industrial design leads to gather information on the various strengths and weaknesses of each vendor.

Design solutions often involved collaboration with engineers in the use of the teardown process to learn about assembly and how innovative materials can be utilized within a product.
