About Silvia Acosta Gutiérrez

I am a Computational Physicist whose passion/mission is to solve life’s puzzles using computers. I have +10 years of experience in molecular modelling techniques.As part of my academic research, I have been focusing on leveraging physics based simulation techniques to understand complex biological system at the level of actionable drug design (small molecules and nanoparticles); developing tools for the assessment of channel's electrostatics, molecular transport, viral/nanoparticle attachment, md-based dynamical maps.Currently I lead my own project on the design and development of an intelligent platform for phenotypic medicines (from all-atom to patient dose). Side gigs: in-situ transmission electron microscopy 3D reconstructions and modelling/ Drug-scaffolds permeability improvement through Bacterial membrane.
