CurrentIn 2017, I added revenue generation by modernizing the agency’s bus and rail advertising programs — delivering new contracts with increased revenues from $110M to $305M. The program will see the digitization of Metro’s rail system by providing new equipment for digital signage, customer information, and advertising — nearly 1,000 digital screens ($20M of capital assets) will be installed at no cost to the agency. Once complete, it will serve as a new digital channel for Metro to effectively communicate with customers in realtime and afford customers interactive information at their fingertips.
