(https://cpd.org.bd/cpd-annual-report-2020-2/) (https://cpd.org.bd/cpd-annual-report-2021-2/)· Preparing bank reconciliation for CPD and different projects.· Ensuring proper compliance with VAT act 2012 rules, and timely submission of company's VAT return.· Preparing & Maintaining Vat Return (Mushuk-9.1), VAT 6.3, VAT 6.6 of all other VAT documentation of the company, and submit the same to the concerned VAT.· Preparing schedules and other financial reports/statement for annual audit and make ready in time for review.· Ensuring proper administration of company accounts, cash, and bank transactions, receipt and payment statement, cash and fund flow statement, stock record, trial balance, TAX and VAT management etc.· Reviewing monthly budget variance reports and general ledger reports to ensure that items are being charged to the correct projects. Preparing correcting journal entries as required.· Preparation & submission of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly & yearly Tax returns & statements to the respective circle of NBR.· Monitoring of budget spending, preparing monthly budget vs actual report of projects and share with Director, Finance.· Preparing accurate and timely financial reports on grants for donors and for internal management purposes; Ensuring compliance of grants with CPD, donor and government policies/procedures.· Prepare annual FD4 and other report in compliance with NGOAB compliance and submit to auditors.· Managing relationships with external entities including donor and partner NGOs.

Responsibilities in Accounting, Consultancy, Tax & VAT services – · Calculating of corporate Income Tax, Advance Income Tax (AIT) with Income Tax Ordinance 1984. · Preparing half yearly Tax Return as per Sec. 75A of Income Tax Ordinance 1984.· Furnishing certain information regarding filing of return by employees as per Sec. 108A of Income Tax Ordinance 1984.· Withholding of VAT with compliance and Compliance of VAT Act 2012. · Preparation of Statement of International Transactions and Transfer Pricing Documentation as per Sec. 107 of Income Tax Ordinance 1984.Responsibilities in Audit and Assurance Services – · Assessing and monitoring the internal control & compliance procedure in accordance with International Standards of Auditing (ISA), International Accounting Standard (IAS), Companies Act 1994 and company’s rules and regulation on financial transaction.· Working out financial ratios by analyzing monthly and yearly financial statements, balance sheet, cash flow statement, aged receivables/ payables listing on a periodic basis.· Formulating audit programs, preparing audit methodologies for the assignments.· Identifying all aspects of control systems to rely and develop a review cycle for clients.· Evaluating systems, identifying inappropriate and inadequate controls and recommend improvements.· Audit of all financial vouchers, bill etc. and follow-up the transactions which maintains by respective accounts department.· Conducting review audit under International Standard on Review Engagements (ISRE) 2400.Responsibilities in Special Projects –· Fixed asset recognition and reconciliation.· Consolidation of accounts.· Expenditure verification.· Verifying the technical correctness of formulas, functions, variables and their correlations.· Verifying the logic, assumptions and selected data sources to ensure that the data provided with is correct and reflects a reasonable result.
