Research EngineerRimac Technology Dec 2021 - Jul 2023Zagreb, CroatiaIn my role as a Research Engineer at Rimac Technology in Zagreb, Croatia, I developed innovative methods to enhance driving skills and safety on the racetrack. By utilizing artificial intelligence, I proposed a new scoring system for driving skills, implemented real-time machine learning for distraction detection, and designed a method to estimate cognitive load using EEG data. These advancements have significantly improved the training sessions for amateur drivers and contributed to a safer racing environment. -
Research Assistant - Phd CandidateTechnische Universität Graz Feb 2018 - Dec 2021Graz, Austria- Implemented convolutional neural networks and long-short term memory networks to classify three levels of driver’s drowsiness using data fusion of biosignals and vehicle-based data. The model provided an accuracy of about 85% for three levels of drowsiness.- Developed a Bayesian encoder-decoder model to predict the critical level of drowsiness about 5 minutes ahead using extracted features from brain data of the drivers. This model provided an accuracy of about 90% for the binary classification.- Processed different types of biosignals such as EEG and ECG of drivers. These signals were used together with vehicle data and facial-based data to monitor the driver’s drowsiness. -
