Currently, I am doing my PhD studies in Mechanical Engineering at Ontario Tech University, where my research focuses on exploring the impact of adverse weather conditions on autonomous vehicles (AVs), particularly with an emphasis on snow. My research methodology encompasses three primary phases: outdoor measurements under real weather conditions, indoor experiments in the Climatic Chamber at the Automotive Center of Excellence (ACE) at Ontario Tech University, and numerical simulations. The goal of my work is to develop a model that addresses precipitation, accumulation, and visibility issues to mitigate the effects of harsh weather on AVs.I graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Shiraz University as a bachelor's student. My bachelor’s project was “Dynamic modeling of trolling-mode AFM: Considering the effects of liquid-nanoneedle interactions using numerical simulation”. By conducting this research, I was able to develop sophisticated skills in Fluid-Solid Interaction, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and 3-dimensional numerical simulation.As a Master's student, I proposed a new Darrieus vertical axis wind turbine, and I have been trying to use Reynolds Averaged Naiver-Stokes equations (RANS) to simulate it as an interdisciplinary project, which helped improve my analytical and problem-solving skills. By conducting this research, I was able to develop a sophisticated skill in Computational Fluid Dynamics and 3-dimensional numerical simulation. Besides, I have worked on several relevant projects that provided me with the skill sets I need to be aneffective student. These projects have included: "Aeroacoustics, Optimization (Genetic algorithm andNeural network), modeling, and simulating"; "Aeroacoustics and aerodynamic optimization of propellerblades"; It is of great significance to develop a high-efficiency and low-noise propeller optimizationmethod for new-generation propeller aircraft and wind farm design.Furthermore, I successfully completed the "Machine Learning" course on Coursera offered by Stanford University, which helped me learn many practical concepts on Data Mining and Machine learning.I graduated with my master's degree in Aerospace engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) in July 2022.
