I am currently an educator of the little humans who will one day be our doctors, teachers, presidents, talk show hosts, chefs, engineers and more! I go into my classroom everyday and leave everything at the door, put on my teacher hat on and give my all daily to all 23 students. I sometimes lose sleep over them, wonder what I can do better tomorrow to reach them, shop for gifts that will remind them of how much they rock, etc. Basically, my students mean the world to me! I absolutely love making connections with my students, their parents, administrators and my team! I am currently attending grad school at American College of Education in Instructional Technology. I have had 5 year olds tell me what to do with my SmartBoard for it to work properly, so I do believe they teach me more than they know.As I make this transition into the “IT world”, I want to continue making connections and making a difference. Skills that I have acquired in education are:-Time management-Analyzing Data-Creating pre-assessments-Creating post-assessments -Collaborating with grade level in team planning for curriculum -Maintaining the attention of 23 humans -Create engaging content and activities for learners -Providing positive feedback-Creating and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment for all learners -Creating and updated individualized educational plans for multiple learners Fun Facts:-I speak English and Spanish-I have taught over 100 learners, each say I am “the best teacher EVER”-Multitasking is talent -I have had to do lists since I was about 8 years old -Chocolate and/or coffee will make my day
