I would like to classify myself as a dreamer and an artist . I got a convent school education and then studied art , Literature for college. One of the first batches of NIFT in India I studied fashion under Professor Hilda Freidman of FIT New York.I started my first business at an early age and with two vey small Toddlers to look after . Life was a struggle to balance work and family but I was able to and travelled all over Europe to sell my designs, products and meet clients . This period opened my mind and made me know my capablities and travel showed me the world . I found that I had organisational skills and that I could multitask and innovate.Life then took turns and there was a period when the business stagnated so I closed down and dedicated myself to social work. I volunteered at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram and helped the formation of Bhagta Bharat from inception. This period was very enriching to me as a person and I felt I had found my calling.Now I spend time between my many homes around the world in New Delhi , Chicago, San Fransisco, Bermuda and Agra. Spending time with family and freinds and exploring these places is exciting and mind expanding at the same time. When I am in these places I also volunteer at different organizations. Although I am still a student of life myself I teach art and fashion to students who cannot afford to travel and give them insights of design and trends and fashion . I share my 40 years of experience to be able to give back to society.I help them create art collections and Fashion collections and market them to individuals and corporations who will appreciate the hard work of these children. I also try to help in improving the life of women by teaching them new skills . I also organise workshops to teach kids how to conduct themselves in Life and progress . My motto in life now is to work towards leaving behind a better world for all children and grandchildren .I am also a memebr of FICCI and the Inner wheel Club.
