About Sadie Bishop

I have over 20 years of experience in education, working in both administration and teaching. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst Commonwealth Honors College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Political Science. Throughout college I worked for a federal educational grant program, Educational Talent Search, as an instructional assistant in the Amherst and Northampton school districts. This work included developing afterschool tutoring programs and study centers for several schools, as well as time spent in special education and English as a Second Language classrooms. I had a tenured career in college admissions, including serving as Director of Admissions. I have my Master’s Degree from Salem State University in Elementary Education and am certified to teach first through sixth grade in Massachusetts. I taught second and fifth grade in the Norwood, Westwood, and Newton School districts. Currently I teach fourth grad at the Woodland Elementary School e In Milford, but have also taught second, third snd fifth grade at the Prescott School in Norwood. I have a passion for education and approach my teaching with energy, enthusiasm and creativity. I am committed to reaching all learners and strive to help each student find confidence and success.
