First3Years is a statewide (Texas) non-profit whose mission is to educate, advocated and collaborate to advance the healthy development of infants and toddlers. Created by professionals, First3Years began with a genuine concern for the quality of care young children receive. Today, that concern has become a commitment to ensure current science and best practices are at the heart of programs for young children and their families.We transform research into practice for all levels of early childhood professionals

-Developed cross-cultural program to address inequities in early education and opportunities-Leveraged initial success nearly double programming with minimal impact on overall budget

-Identified and nurtured strategic partnerships with the Ecuadorian government and other agencies to advance income generation opportunities for the local community.-Trained and advised local indigenous women in income generation through small business ventures.
