For the past ten years, I've had the pleasure of working in data science and AI. Before discovering my love for data, I worked in a neuroscience lab studying emotional learning and memory. And before that, I studied piano performance and taught music lessons.In 2015, I founded Women in Data™ with a mission to increase diversity in data careers. Today, Women in Data is the largest global community for Women in Data & AI, with 60,000+ members in 55+ countries. At Women in Data, we're committed to empowering women to thrive in data and AI.In addition to my work with Women in Data™, I'm the founder and CEO of the Human Machine Collaboration Institute (HMCI). At HMCI, we envision a future where technology and humanity co-evolve, fostering a symbiotic relationship that bridges the gap between humans and machines. Our mission is to create solutions that seamlessly integrate humans and machines, ensuring a future that benefits all of humanity. We're pioneering research, aiming to educate one billion individuals, offering consulting to businesses for large-scale human-machine collaboration, and building a community of innovators for societal evolution.Teaching: I've had the pleasure of teaching SQL for Data Science at UC Davis, and my course is available on the Coursera Platform.
