Updated the University's Employee Directory: Gathered and analyzed requirements from various stakeholders including HR, Communications and Infrastructure. Formulated a solution with management based on requirements, future planning and deadlines. Implemented the solution using various web technologies including Apache's open source search platform (Solr), a REST API for data collection and real-time updates, and tied it all together using PHP, CSS and HTML to make custom Drupal modules to interact with the Solr configuration.ii. Migration: Aided with migrating various CMSs (WordPress, Joomla, static websites) and associated web content to a uniformed Drupal platform. This included tasks such as creating custom modules to accomplish tasks performed by previous CMSs, maintaining a similar look and feel across all migrated sites (font, layout, color scheme, etc) while providing each faculty/service customization options for individuality, all while maintaining the University's standards on responsiveness and accessibility.iii. Feature Development: Implemented custom modules, extended Drupal contributed modules and everything in between.iv. DevOps: Utilized Jenkins (Leading Open Source project automation tool) to build, deploy and maintain the University's web environments. Created scripts and maintained industry best practices on CI.v. Training: Co-hosted training sessions for employees on how to utilize development tools as well as familiarize them with our development and deployment process.vi. Teamwork: Chaired standup meetings to assist colleagues with any blockers they encountered. Led/followed pair-coding sessions.
