Experienced Design Engineer with a specialization in Smoke Vents and Natural Ventilation Systems. Managed more than 50+ major projects, including UAE and Overseas projects, and Demonstrated expertise in Product Design, Development, and Estimation. Key Result Areas:- Smoke Ventilation system design and calculation as per UAE Unified Fire Code 2018.- Technical Design and Project Coordination of Smoke Vents (Automatic Vents) and access Hatches.- Commissioning of the Smoke Vent & Control panel system with the Fire Alarm System.- Design and Selection of the Aluminum Louvers, Louver Doors, and Sound attenuators as per the Client’s requirements.- Prepare shop, schematic &Fabrication AutoCAD Drawings.- Arranging for and attending site visits. Prepare detailed visit reports and attend clarification meetings with the client.- Prepare material submittals including, technical documents and calculations (including Smoke ventilation calculation, Electrical calculation & cable size, Electrical Interface drawings, Roof layout, compliance statement, etc.) as per project requirements.- Actuators & Gas springs stroke selection and load-carrying capacity.- Inspecting/testing the final fabricated product as per the specification.- Technical support for sales, Preparation of Submittals, and Research & development of new products.- Collaborated with clients, architects, Engineers & contractors on various designs in smoke management system ventilation, natural ventilation, and Acoustic systems.- Design selection of the Louver system for intake, exhaust, and architectural performance depends on application & Air movement study using AMCA calculations.
