I assumed the role of Operations Manager in January 2021, where I undertook the responsibility of providing exceptional leadership to drive the organization's success. • Updated and streamlined the whole process of the identification and the negotiation with different suppliers in terms of contract and pricing. The suppliers include:- Ship repair & refurbishment companies for securing the berth / yard for the rig- Tug boat companies for rig moves- Marine and off shore consultancy companies for arranging MWS/Tow Master for rig movies- Shipping and Maritime Agents for inward/outward clearance- Helideck Inspection companies for the yearly inspection of helideck as per the ADNOC requirement.- Man power contractors for arranging the crew.- Catering Companies for all catering services onboard the rig.- Flag Inspection Companies for arranging the ASI inspections and also to make sure that all documentation are in order as per the requirement of the flag.- Safety Training providers for arranging the training for the crew- Medivac providers for arranging Medivac.Crew Management• Managing Crew recruitment process on direct hire and / or through manpower contractors.• Crew change planning and management.• Interviewing and selection of competent crew• Monitoring the On-Signers and Off-Signers as per the rotation plan• In charge of management of crew Pay Roll as per their crew rotation. • Heading a team to implement the visa requirements for the travel of crew and also monitoring other requirements such as CICPA passes, White Seaman Card, ADMA Medicals etc.Rig move Arrangements• Meeting and coordinating with the shipping agents for the inward / outward clearance procedures.• Meeting with Port Authorities and/or ship repair and refurbishment companies for securing the berth/yard.• Arranging the MWS and / or Tow Masters for the rig move and also for the suitability inspection of the tug boats.• Meeting with all prominent Tug boat companies for arranging tug boats for rig move
