Sadiya Akasha is an Agile Coach who has spent several years teaching, facilitating, and implementing agile-thinking and user-oriented techniques to teams small and large across a wide variety of disciplines.She embarked on this career path at the Broad Institute, a nonprofit genomics research center, where she worked with data analysts and research scientists to improve the efficiency of their research methods and analytics pipelines.Sadiya studied Scrum with Jeff Sutherland, one of the co-creators of the Scrum framework and signatory of the Agile Manifesto; she later taught alongside him at Scrum, Inc, the certifying body that trains Agile professionals across the world. Sadiya has both her Scrum Master and Product Owner certifications from Scrum, Inc.She has since leveraged her skills to transform organizational thinking in marketing, investments, molecular diagnostics, and community-serving nonprofit arts organizations. Sadiya brings to bear her background in social psychology, group dynamics, and agile experience to help organizations conceptualize and deliver technology initiatives that solve long-term strategic goals.
