Developed strategy for the growth and implementation of the Writing is Thinking through Strategic Inquiry (WITsi) professional development program at 10 SFUSD Middle and High Schools.Developed and maintained systems for collecting data around program implementation and efficacy.Managed the recruitment and support of site facilitators across schools with WITsi teams.Planned and led facilitator support meetings targeted around facilitator's support goals, which were co-written with the support of the larger Multilingual Pathways team.

Serving as Instructional Lead for the Summer Academy for Integrated Language Learning, a summer program for high school aged summer ELs. Participated in the program redesign in the summer of 2017, and repeated the instructional leadership role in the summer of 2018. Organized curriculum, planned professional development, and provided individual coaching.Serving as the TSA lead of the Writing is Thinking through Strategic Inquiry (WITsi) professional development program. Supporting teams at Newcomer Pathways high schools to build PLCs of teachers to engage in cycles of inquiry around student work and implement targeted writing interventions.Coaching and providing professional development support around ELs to several Newcomer Pathways high schools and other programs. SFUSD high schools supported include Thurgood Marshall, Lincoln, Mission, Galileo, and Hilltop.

Taught 12th grade Sheltered ELA for an entirely newcomer EL population. Designed and implemented 12th grade English curriculum, including two interdisciplinary projects in collaboration with Government and Economics.Served as college coordinator and advisor for a group of roughly twenty-five seniors as part of SFIHS’ Senior Seminar program.Co-designed and implemented a structure for a grade-wide portfolio assessment for the 11th grade and 12th grade classes

Taught 11th Grade American Literature. First 11th grade English teacher in a new public school. Designed and implemented grade-level differentiated curriculum for a school exclusively serving English Language Learners.Co-designed and implemented a structure for a grade-wide portfolio assessment.-Served as an 11th grade College and Career Teacher/Advisor.Led 11th graders in a collaborative project with 826 Valencia to publish a book of student-written personal narratives, titled The Enter Question.

Tutored at John O’Connell High School, Mission High, San Francisco Day School and James Lick Middle School. Provided homework help after school at the tutoring center the 2008 school year. Helped high school students write, edit, and publish essays for two separate essay collections, Show of Hands: Young Authors reflect on the Golden Rule and We The Dreamers: Young Authors Explore the American Dream. Served on the volunteer editorial board for We The Dreamers. Tutored children full-time at an English Language Learners summer camp in Summer 2009.
