Sadman Rahman is a multifaceted professional recognized for his extensive experience as a policy expert across diverse sectors including technology, trade & investments, and governance. He has worked closely with the governments of both the United States and Bangladesh as well as the United Nations system, showcasing expertise in policy development and implementation. With the UNDP Bangladesh country office, Sadman has mobilized almost 6 million USD for economic governance and anticorruption projects. He assisted in designing and developing proposals for several projects across UNDP’s governance work. During this time, he successfully led the establishment of a research unit in the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) under the Prime Minister’s Office, the first of its kind. Previously, he served as an Evaluation Specialist for a US state government agency and worked in academic policy research and private consulting. In his free time, he performs and records music as a singer-songwriter.He received his B.A. in economics from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, his M.P.P. from the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and his M.A. in applied diplomacy at the Grace School of Applied Diplomacy at DePaul University.
