Roll out of vanilla Kubernetes with added system components to enable logs aggregation, monitoring, alerting, automatic storage provisioning and service mesh. Automation of provisioning of the clusters on- prem, Azure (AKS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Creation and continuous enhancements of Jenkins shared library, re-usable GitHub workflows and Helm Library chart to enforce build and deployment standards of the company, to simplify projects’ pipeline code. Maintaining a catalogue of Helm charts of ready-to-use by product teams software components. Assisting and training development teams to ease the adoption of the changed build and deployment platforms, projects’ support.

Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices, coaching development teams, teaching them to appreciate the benefits of CI and CD: speed and quality of software development.While introducing CI in a few companies I realised that some challenges of managing source code are not tackled by existing software development tooling. Therefore I started Development Environment Cross Examiner - scanner of source repositories, which learns dependencies among the projects. The created dependency graph helps changing and testing of shared code. Implemented retrieval of source code from repositories, wrote Maven and Gradle plugins to retrieve projects’ information in a unified form.

A core contributor to the company product minimesos - Docker based testing infrastructure for writing Apache Mesos frameworks. Gave a few talks about writing Mesos frameworks and using minimesos to test them. Re-structured continuous integration environment of the project to analyse the quality of every GitHub pull request. The project was also used in the development of ELK (Elastic Search, Logstash and Kibana) Mesos frameworks. Our work became part of Cisco’ MANTL – platform for cloud-native applications. Fixed automated provisioning of Oracle database in a Docker container.

Aligning development and deployment processes of the software projects at a large international organisation. The total number of the projects exceeds 600 and used technologies vary from Java/JEE and C to PHP and JavaScript. Developing and enhancing corporate POM and set of Maven and build server plugins to integrate source control repository, multiple build and test servers, SonarQube (platform to manage code quality) and artefacts repository into a cohesive platform for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. Writing tools to migrate existing projects to the common build platform and verify the conversion results, to scan source repository and build servers for inconsistencies and violations of the company policies.

Leading remote team of developers building a custom Content Management System (CMS) based on J2EE platform. The project was started from scratch. To provide maximum freedom for the websites look-and-feel, the front-end pages are built using XSL Transformations to HTML. A separated broker application is built to handle integration with external systems. Communication between the CMS and the broker, as well as between the broker and some external systems, is based on Web Services.During all phases of the project, to ensure flexibility and extendibility of new system I actively participated in the application design, analyses of the requirements, structuring the work of system administrators, supporting customer Service Desk. Insured implementation of functional changes in correct order, constantly monitored the progress by reviewing the code of the most crucial application's components

Leader of a small team providing QA to the bank crucial reporting application; focal point for teams of testers and operations. Have developed and implemented new procedure to use version control system. Modules based J2EE internet application for job seekers, employers and agents of Randstad companies. Implementation of new functional requirements involving changes in the Struts configuration, Struts validation, JSPs, web-tier and business-tier code. Creation of HTTPUnit and JUnit test classes for both tiers testing

Built "proof of concept", wrote technical design and instructions to migrate of stand alone Java applications to Message Driven Beans in EJB Container, to merge with existing web application. The result of two years work of 14 developers team was completely re-factored. My work resulted in reducing the number of application code lines by 30% and even greater reducing of the maintenance work. Coached other developers. Wrote manual to migrate development environment to WSAD 5.1.1 and WAS 5.1. Updated and tested the application deployment procedure.

Provided the maintenance of MQSeries based middleware product with client-server architecture, communication layer for the end user applications. My tasks were to determinate the layer of the source of the problem (application, middleware, MQSeries, network) and resolve them.
