I was engaged for a leading health care provider, with 3,000+ staff and an annual turnover of $180M+ (USD); where I managed the company finances, collaborated with the CEO and the COO to develop the strategic vision and facilitated new business development.Highlights from my role include:• Led and trained the multi-cultural finance team consisting of 4 managers (direct) and 80 staff (indirect).• Championed the Investors Relation and Communication function, answering investors’ enquiries via personal meetings and during investors’ conferences.• Ensuring robust controls were implemented and documentation was validated and readily available.

As CFO, I was accountable for the financial and risk management operations of the company, including development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.Achievements from my role include:• Key involvement in new business development, facilitated the CEO and COO in identifying new funding opportunities, drafting budgets, determined service delivery cost efficiency and preformed contract negotiations.• Led the issuance of financial information, including fiscal reporting, creation of revenue, expense and balance sheet reports.• Guaranteed the company complied with all legal and regulatory requirements; ensured appropriate controls were implemented in line with company policy, in preparation for prospective audits.• Trained and mentored the finance team to raise awareness and educate subordinates on finance methodologies.

I was in-charge to deliver several feasibility studies, business plans, and due diligence projects for acquisitions and IPO transactions across sectors such as healthcare, currency house, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, retail, media & advertising and construction industries.

In my first role with the firm, I led projects for small, medium and large engagements in Investment, Oil & Gas, Hospitality and Logistics. I also oversaw financial audits and accounting engagements for holding companies; aiding the client in the creation of preparation of the financial statements and consolidated financial statements.
