Summary:Handling technical project procurement of large volume and complex projects (~ USD 50m) for Business Unit-Transmission Solutions, which is responsible for execution and completion of 500kV/220kV/132kV grid station projects in line with time, cost, and quality requirements of the contract. Major commodities include auto transformers, power transformers, high voltage circuit breakers, surge arrestors, medium and low voltage switchgear, DC systems, Nitrogen injection fire prevention systems, ETC (erection, testing and commissioning) services and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) services.Responsibilities:• Responsible for preparation of techno commercial RFQs, while ensuring customer back-to-back commercial T&Cs and best payment conditions are covered.• Responsible for procurement market analysis, creation of procurement strategies and supplier evaluation, selection, and development as per Siemens corporate processes. • Strategic procurement planning and sourcing of assigned global commodities with an annual spend of around USD 15m.• Negotiating large volume contracts with suppliers to achieve the maximum contribution towards total cost of ownership, while mitigating commercial & technical risks and maximizing commercial advantages. • Analysis of Project Technical and Commercial risks to prepare a comprehensive mitigation plan with respect to deliveries of equipment and services (with the support of Contract Manager / Project Manager).• Ensure attainment of KPIs such as On time Delivery (OTD), Contribution to Net Income (CNI) and Contribution to Margin (CTM), to ensure project timelines and profitability targets are met.• Support tendering team during bidding phase in all aspects of vendor offers such as technical compliance, offer validity, equipment warranty, service defect liability period, contract liquidated damages, contract payment terms, price escalations, etc.

Summary:* Performed techno-commercial analysis of materials, parts, equipment & tools used in 11kV distribution network.Responsibilities:* Performed commercial evaluation of proposals and conducting negotiations with vendors; being interface with technical colleagues tosupport discussions/clarifications.* Contributed to the cost reduction targets related to the direct supply of materials, products, and services.* Liaised with internal and external stakeholders (procurement, engineering, execution, and vendors), to perform a detailed techno-commercial feasibility study for future use of products/services in network based on total cost of ownership.* Liaised with procurement to compare the cost and price of assets / materials that are being purchased for distribution network, and hence, ensure right price buying of assets, materials, and services.

Summary:* Managed overall supply chain of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage switchgear by planning, managing, and delivering LV and MV Switchgear projects; from design freeze and technical scope finalization with respect to customer technical specifications till customer inspection (FAT) and delivery; ensuring that project requirements with respect to timelines, cost and quality are met.Responsibilities:* Planned monthly revenue of manufacturing Plant by close coordination with downstream logistics team.* Launched and controlled order process, internally & externally through SAP (PS Module).* Understanding project requirements by reviewing tender documents, customer technical specifications, single line diagrams and BOQs to ensure project scope is clarified at project planning stage.* Coordinated with Engineering team for selection and ordering of electrical components required in switchgear such as vacuum circuit breakers, Micom and Easergy relays, ACBs, MCCBs, CTs, PTs etc. and mechanical components such as earth switches, copper busbars, sheet metal etc.* Monitored ordering of project material and negotiations with suppliers to ensure project technical and commercial requirements are met.* Ensured quality of supplies by participating in Factory Acceptance Test and quality audits.* Hands on experience in ordering of MV switchgear (PIX) and LV switchgear (Blokset), manufacturing processes, SOPs and plant best practices related to end-to-end supply chain.* Monitored and controlled KPIs such as on-time delivery, gross margin and claims to ensure financial side of projects are under control.* Continuous risk & opportunity analysis to capitalize on additional opportunities.* Conducted project closure meetings to capture lessons learnt, best practices and profit & loss of projects.
