I am a Ph.D. holder in Computer Science from the University of Salford, UK, with extensive experience in supervision, teaching, and industry work as a Software Engineer. I have developed a unique methodology called Testability-Driven Development (TsDD), which enhances Test-Driven Development (TDD) by continuously measuring and refactoring source code testability to ensure effective and efficient tests. We have proposed a machine-learning model for this purpose.In my software engineering courses, I emphasize ‘tests first’ methods such as Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), TDD, and TsDD. I am also the author of a practical book titled ‘Software Testing Automation’, published by Springer, with all the software tools described in the book accessible via Figshare.My primary expertise lies in compiler design, and I can contribute as a Compiler Engineer to develop tools for building compilers for Domain-Specific Languages. Currently, I lead a team of Ph.D. and Master’s students in developing a software tool that enables programmers to access any library in any programming language suggested by a recommender.I have taught courses on parallelizing compilers and parallel algorithms and supervised several Ph.D. dissertations in collaboration with industries. These include topics like Multi-Dimensional Loop Parallelization, Distribution of Sequential Object-Oriented Programs, Nested Loop Parallelization, Estimation of Maximum Duration of Repeatable Codes, and Game Theoretic Scheduling.In my compiler design course, I guide students on how to analyze source code to compute source code metrics, transform source code into feature vectors, and use these vectors to train and test machine learning models. My students have developed machine-learning models to predict code smells and measure the impact of code smells on source code quality attributes.
