As a director at GLOW, I am actively involved in the delivery of monitoring, evaluation and learning activities for our international clients. These includes INGOs such as Concern Worldwide, International Rescue Committee (IRC), Search for Common Ground (SFCG), Save the Children (SC), Norwegian Church Aid (NCA); UN agencies including United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and United Nations Drug Control Programme (UNODC); development partner like DAI, Tetra Tech, MSI, Coffey; research entities such Humanitarian Advisory Group (HAG), ODI, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU). In terms of thematic focus, while having a localization lens, our engagement both covers development and humanitarian work. This includes education, health, livelihoods, GBV, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Non-food items (NFIs), media, peace and CVE. Our engagement covers full prorgramme / project cycle including assessments, baselines, feasibilities, midterm and endterm evaluations covering monitoring as well as process and impact evaluations.From a population group perspective, our engagement covers both Pakistani and Afghan populations (camp/refugee villages and off-camp/urban refugees) including women, girls, youth, transgender, persons with disabilities (PwDs), religious and ethnic minorities as well as rural poor.

As Principal Consultant with GLOW Consultants (Pvt) Limited, completed over 150 assignments in eight years. These assignments were related to research, monitoring, evaluation, business development, capacity building and strategy formulation. SDC interventions in Pakistan include water governance, local state building, rule of Law, humanitarian assistance and disaster risk reduction related interventions with annual funding of around CHF 15 million. Humanitarian interventions covers both Pakistani IDPs as well as Afghan refugees. - Contributed to policy dialog, quarterly situation analysis and country cooperation strategy formulation- Focal point for conflict, fragility and conflict sensitive program management.

- As regional adviser, providing advice, support and assistance to over USD 15 millions multiyear programs with focus on livelihoods, education, agriculture, fuel efficiency, vocational training, humanitarian assistance and business development for refugees, IDPs and host communities in Asian and Caucasus countries with emphasis on program development, management, design and monitoring including USAID funded programs. - Identifying and supporting design of innovative programs and proposals for refugees and IDPs for emergency relief and reintegration program and development of good monitoring plans, work plans and other documents; - Visits to monitor implementation, deliver technical support to field staff, conduct trainings, make clear recommendations on ways to strengthen programs and share learning across programs; - With the full participation of field programs, contribute to the development/ revision of best practice guides, manuals and other technical resources to improve the quality of IRC programs.

- Assisted in the management of USD 30 million annual multi sectoral program in Tanzania and Somalia for refugees, IDPs and returnees with UNHCR.- Assisted in the policy formulation, funding decisions, program development, quality assurance, financial management, design and management of multi sector interventions including education, development, shelter, protection, child protection, agriculture, energy and fuel efficiency, WASH, livelihoods and humanitarian assistance programme of over USD 15 million with focus on youth, children & women;- Developed, Designed, planned and implemented different interventions including child protection, protections, youth, shelter, income generation, education and health;- Prepared funding proposals/budgets for operations. Ensuring financial control in the programme; - Performed programmatic tasks including preparing proposals, project agreements, programme monitoring and evaluation etc. Preparing situation report, mid-year and annual reports on the entire Somalia programme;- Represented UNHCR in the various coordination bodies for Somalia.

Working through UNDP country offices, UNV serves as an operational partner in development cooperation.- While managing funding portfolio of USD 27 million, I was the focal point in the UNHCR Tanzanian Humanitarian Assistance Programme for resource mobilization; donor reporting and proposal development; - Assisted in different interventions related to education, agriculture, shelter, camp management, protection, health, sustainable livelihood and income generation; - Assisted in the preparation of country operation and various other internal reporting documents. - Compiled and drafted funding submissions including budgets; and narrative and financial reports to donors in particular for ECHO/EC. Had the responsibility to prepare and finalize project documents; - Attended meetings with donors and other stake holders, and contributed to Development Partners Group;While managing a funding portfolio of over US$ 27 million, working for UNHCR provided an opportunity to gain a better comprehension of UNHCR humanitarian interventions.

YPN is the initiative of German NGO, FES, to develop political and technical capacity of youth- Had the responsibility for all capacity building initiatives; Assisted FES in the overall co-ordination and management of YPN initiative with focus on governance issues;- Provided training and developed framework to incorporate views and aspiration of youth in the processes and decisions that affect their lives; Provided input to the National Policy Making for youth.

- Had the responsibility for resource mobilization, donor liaison and external reporting;- Assisted in the overall co-ordination of the IRC Pakistan and Kosovo Programmes;- Assisted coordinators/managers in different programme and projects for youth, vocational training, governance, capacity building, agricultural, women and children programs- Supported programme staff in developing reporting formats, collection & processing data and in measuring progress against planned activities, schedules and budget; - Managed grants from BPRM, EC, ECHO, UNHCR, SV, and Johnson & Johnson;- In close coordination with the M&E Unit, assessed the social welfare of beneficiaries, particularly in community services including Livelihoods, Water & Sanitation, and Durable Solutions; - Assisted in writing, reviewing and editing different reports and proposals including Programme Final Reports and Donors’ Proposals. Nasir Marble, which is our family business, is a private enterprise engaged in production and marketing of marble products.- Full responsibility for the management of the office affairs and general administration of the organisation;- Ensured compliance with Environmental Protection Agency standards and industry regulations.

- Worked under the auspices of IUCN-Pakistan, completed research for master dissertation on the achieving sustainable development in business environments;- Conceptualized the revival of industries in Gadoon Amazai Industrial Estate.Provided the opportunity to treat policy intervention as a tool to bring sustainability issues in line with business goals, and thus achieving social development and economic growth.

- Completed summer internship in UNDCP-Regional office for South West Asia, with focus on Dir District Development Project; Focused on the implementation and methodology used over the period of the project; - Financial monitoring including budgeting & accounting aspects of the program.The internship gave an insight into the management and implementation of development projects
