Thirteen years of national and international experience in project management in the science communication, public engagement and linguistic/cultural fields, having worked for the past six years on IAU and UN-funded projects such as Heritage of the Sky, Under Iran Sky Programme and Science Communication Conference series. Proven track record of developing and managing large multi-partner projects, from concept development to implementation including end-to-end planning and administration. Received a bachelor's degree in language and communication and has completed a master's in linguistics at the University of Kurdistan where he is a researcher in linguistics and editor-in-chief of Linguistics Studies Journal. Saeed has worked towards increasing the awareness of science among the public and promoting the appreciation of scientific progress in society.He spends his time advocating for more inclusive, decolonised and multi-cultural forms of science engagement; contributing to training, mentorship, and capacity-building efforts; and building policy, infrastructure and communities of practice for strengthening science-society interfaces on regional and global scales.
