Working for branch hardware refresh, data migration, network drive re-balancing. Part of the Infrastructure Operations team. My duties include:• Installing Windows 2008/2012 failover clusters, both 2-node and 4-node on blades or rack mounted servers• Configuring Dell and HP servers using remote management tools – iLO, iDRAC, OA, VCM• Managing storage, creating RAID/LUNs for shared disks on storage arrays (FC/iSCSI) - EMC Unisphere• Creating objects in AD for virtual resources and security groups for resources• Configuring access to resources accorfing to Microsoft’s best practices for AD permissions (AGDLP)• Migrating user data - individual and group, using Robocopy• Creating highly available file and print servers, with PR/DR replication• Monitoring queue for tickets and taking action in a timely fashion• Coordinating with vendors for hardware or software related issues• Configuring cluster aware backup solution (TSM) service on the file clusters• Balancing user home drives on various file servers for optimal performance to address capacity issues• Communicating with team lead and other members on daily and weekly basis to monitor progress and assess priority issues.
